Last night the kids spent a few hours playing with the Legos in Ben's room and making quite a mess. They were told that if they didn't clean it up before bedtime they'd have to clean it up before Saturday morning cartoons, and of course they chose procrastination. I was secretly glad they made that choice because it meant another hour and a half delay this morning on the TV watching because of course they don't just take the 5 minutes it should take to clean up. They played together very nicely building more Lego creations all morning.
I just love to see them together cuddled up like they are best friends. There is enough fighting and teasing between these episodes of sibling bonding so I feel like I need to snap a picture every time I see them in this mode:
